This is false. Both total/boss damage and % attack increase your damage the same exact way regardless of regular attack and dex because of how the damage formula works. The only thing to worry about is how much %attack and %total/boss you have because the more you have of one the less the other is worth(and Mercs have a lot of base %total.)

Just cube for 3 good lines

It's up to you, if you want to risk it but I would aim for 3 lines with violet cubes.

I personally only have 249% boss (before pink bean title) and my items only have 1 potential line for boss and 2 boss nebs.

think on some very calculated post, that after ~275boss attack is alot better
