Unbearable lag
Im not completley sure if its just me, but is anyone lagging so bad to the point that the game is nearly unplayable? maple usually never lags for me but ever since a couple of days ago, its started to lag alot, perhaps it has something to do with the black chiper? also i seem to have another problem, when ever i try to launch maplestory it usually crashes when it goes past the loading screen, so i have to launcg it again which takes alot longer then usual. maybe it has something to do with my maplestory folder? maybe a re-install would work, what do you guys think?

@BobR thanks for responding to my thread! glad to see im not the only one going through this. i guess ill just have to play it safe and wait until the issue is resolved. thanks again!

It comes and goes, and apparently is related to Nexon game server lag rather than Internet or computer lag this time.
The number of players online seems to be lagging the game servers more than it used to, for whatever reason.
Possibly the Alliance thing where Nexon probably took some of their computer hardware offline to save money.
At any rate, unless you can determine that it's something wrong with your computer, reinstalling won't help, and reinstalling doesn't help with Internet lag either.
So unfortunately about the only thing you can do is try to play during times when not a lot of other people are online.
The weekend 2x times have been pretty bad for me, to the point where it's not even worth bothering with since the kills, respawns and looting take so long, it results in less overall exp than just playing during normal exp times.
