Can someone help with Rectilinear Motion (motion along a line) please?
Like i don't get how to find velocity and acceleration from just the position graph >.>

My teacher was kind of confusing me and my brain was dead by 7th period which is when i have him >.>

L/R movement right?
You start out with an initial position of 0. Think of going right as positive rate of change, and going left as a negative rate of change. Now, you derive it in order to find the
rate of change of the object traveling in the line, which is velocity. Why? Because the derivative represents a change in y variable over a change in the x variable. So that's distance/time=velocity. Apply the same thing to the velocity graph, since the change in velocity is by definition acceleration (distance/time^2). If the problem asks you to interpret the results, respond by saying where the object is moving right (+ y') or moving left (-y').
