@chros: The funny thing about the Frederick bug is it is related to what Nexon chose to put in the game. You have scrolling, potential, bonus potential, nebulites, hammers, and whatever else that must be transferred. If they had a more simple system for enhancements, we might not have this type of problem. Or at the least, if they put that amount of things in the system, they should have a more detailed investigation of the updates, or perhaps a larger team to handle everything.
But of course, at the end of the day, it isn't enough to have the last players of this game to quit. They're satisfied with being able to play eventually and continuing to do what they want to, and they will forget this misstep. So I guess it's fine. Also, I don't know what their team is like, so they could be doing a nice job with what they have, as far as I'm concerned.
@pachomar: idk man, I agree that they shouldn't take an entire day to fix, but if you look at the bugs, they were bound to slip by. Even if they did test fredrick's merchant storage, they're not really able to test things on the main game server until the patch is out to the public.
As for nebs, I'm fine with letting that slip too. They have so many items in the game, its almost impossible to remember and test them all. I doubt MapleStory has a huge team dedicated to testing every new patch, either.

@hoplikescotch: No need to be rude buddy. I work in IT and I know bugs happen, But whenever is ready to be released, it's tested over and over in order to prevent failures upon releasing in the implementation of any application
Even with weeks of testing, some failures can come up, but never take an entire day to fix it, which means they literally didn't test pretty much nothing. I don't need a kid to tell me what to do, moron
@hoplikescotch: This is the only game I've come across with such a diverse set of bugs, bugs that would even have an impact on the game for years, and others that would go unfixed for months, consistently. At the least, their bug response team is low-impact and ineffective for the most part. This may be in part due to their money-driven philosophy. On the other part, you have to wonder if they are complacent, because historically there is quite an amount of unfixed bugs.
But hey, at the end of the day, they are people, so there is going to be a good reason why it is the way it is. It could jsut be the effects of a dying game that doesn't appeal to a large audience and with a small team.
@pachomar Oh boo hoo. Things like that happen when you have a game to run/develop. If you had any experience in the area, you'd know how hard it is to release new content with no flaws whatsoever, even with weeks of testing, that happens. So sit yo ass down and wait for it to be completed. Go read a book.

Ok, this just got ridiculous. Nexon has proven once again their incompetence
They have been preparing this for weeks and now you find errors? Do you have testers at all?
Basically they fix something and find out that they fucked something else in the process. Oh well, guess I'm actually going to sleep.
Just like the big bang update in many ways.
