Dark knight bossing
Are Dark Knights decent bossers? I saw they were 10th on the dps chart but im not really sure how all that works. I'd really like to know cause i wanted to make a UA drk (not for the skill but i just always wanted a drk)

You can already easily hop over Empress's Summons, and those attacks barely scratch you. You shouldn't even see yourself getting hit because of Wisdom, unless you're at the back AFK.
Mikhail and Eckheart are the only two problems at Empress. Only a handful of Dark Knights on this section can survive a hit.

but you'll notice there are no 1/1 skills at any bosses with potion cooldown ;p

dk's actaully excell at bosses with potion cooldown and potion lock...
Dark Knights have an average damage output. They are top 10 on paper, but does that really matter practically?
There are much more factors to include when bossng. Survivability is one.
@RedRhino23: just saying, i just rephrased all that was in this topic, i didn't add anything new.
dark knights being "10" on the DPS charts mean they have good strength, but as ivege said, their survivability takes the best away.

@RedRhino23: they boss well until they die, which, as ivege said, is pretty often considering your best boss skill drains your HP, and you got no defenses against 1/1's.

i'd like you to tell me how much damage a dead DrK does.
their damage isn't too good unless you have really good equips
thats just my opinion and i've had a 141 and a 134 DK

Yeah you didn't, since you asked about a DrK's bossing ability and then talked about their rank in the DPS chart you read. Even then you didn't ask about their damage output and only how it (whatever "all that" is) worked.

You asked if DrKs were decent bossers, and my post implied a big NO (<- big) with everything I said being negative.

It [i]doesn't[/i] work. There are always other things to take into account like what I said in my previous post. Anyway, [b]even if[/b] DrKs were 10th on the dps chart, there are only 21 or so classes in the game excluding Cygnus Knights.
