My computer died. Fans and LEDs still work.

So, last night my computer kinda died on me. Everything shut down except the fans and LEDs, I depowered with the switch in the back because the power button and restarts stopped working. I left it unplugged from the wall even (unplugged the surge protector) all night, and it still doesn't work now. I'm able to turn on the computer with the power button at first, but then nothing works.

p.s. Its a computer I built 2 summers ago. Only problems its had is needing a new HDD (The best time of reference to when that happened was just after Cataclysm came out.)

It powers on with the power button, but then it does nothing but turn on fans and LED's. I figured it was my PSU, any idiot can google the symptoms, I just wanted human opinions. (somewhat).

So i pulled the PSU from another computer i had laying around, problem is I dont think power wise itl match up. While i dont think the 600W one I had was ever used to 600 watts, the one i found says 250W

One currently in : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-341-017&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10440897&PID=3332167&SID=u00000220

One i found : http://www.thebestpartinc.com/nps-250kb.html?gclid=CJ-5wfeQ8qoCFeVn5QodmifBcQ
But it should be okay to put in and test, if everything works then it was the PSU.

When you click the power does it boot?
or it jsut stays in the "i'm offline nub!" mood?
if it doesn't beep or anything - your PSU is dying

I would say you unbuild it, if you know what I mean. Then examine all the parts and find out where the problem is. Then again, it could just be your screen.
