Hard gollux?
has anyone noticed some changes in hard gollux? (maybe even all modes of gollux)
for starters, I've been hard golluxing for the past week or so now and not a single reinforced equip dropped. they have risen in price.
also, when I get hit by his breath, hands come up out of nowhere and lock me. that NEVER happened to me before these week or so.
maybe they fixed a bug, but there was nothing related to gollux in the bug list...

there was a 2x event last weekend, so the inflation you saw is probably from everyone lvling so quickly and needing new gear right away.
mmmm maybe im just having bad luck lately with drops. but I thought since the price has risen in my server for reinforced equips and they aren't in the fm that much, it was a general drop rate nerf...
I don't have a problem with the hand, and when I do get sealed I don't get attacked by gollux's hand. I'm just wondering why all of a sudden this hand pops out of nowhere. a guildie of mine has also experienced this.

The drop rate for reinforced has always been low....
It is the breathe that seal your movement while taking 50% of your hp. It's not the hand.
The hand is instant OHKO if you get it. To avoid it, you can either move out of range and I think jumping at the correct moment can avoid getting hit by the hand too?
I was reading it and thought of something completely different... i thought you were referring to the sucking skill of his which instant kills and heals him...
But anyway, it happens sometimes so not very surprising. Just try no to get hit by the breath attack. That attack is annoying and IMO the hardest skill to evade compared to the hand...
And i see you are a Mercedes so it shouldn't be that hard to evade the breath... and FYI, the hand has a gap right between his thumb and index so as long as you stay very closely to the portal in the middle, the hand will never hit you since they are area locked and can only appear in exactly 4 spots.
Easy still seems to have the same drop rate. I've always gotten locked there from the breath, well depends on character.
