Why is Maplestory so Laggy since the V Update?

It's the first time for me lagging in the fm.
@minipokemon: I was just on the maplestory official forums and someone named Peep said:
"This is due to the balance changes that got put into place. I thought they were coming in the later patches but there's a lot of information left out of the patch notes. In this patch Aran got their booster skill reduced to 2 speed rather than 3 before, their drain nerfed to 1% compared to 2% before and their cleave reduced by 20% damage.
If you have decent speed infusion you should be unaffected."
So that's what I found out from him.
@blazy4lyfe: Pretty sure crit damage only affects damage, not your range. And maybe the LGR could have affected your range... 16 atk is still quite a stat. other than that, i am not too sure... maybe check character cards?

before it was like:
minimum crit 40% ~ max crit 76%
And now it says:
Crit chance 33% ~ Crit damage 38%
I'm not sure if crit damage actually affects the range but I think it does, but if not then I'm not sure what they did for me to lose range.
@blazy4lyfe: wait how does crit before/after affect visual range tho has it ever? o_o unless Im missing something?
@minipokemon: yup, when I first logged in I noticed that I was weaker and a friend told me to add in the points again and I did, but after adding in the points for hyper stats and link skills my range was still below my original range from before V update. But my new theory is that the changes for crit damage and other stuff might've affected my range and made it lower.
@blazy4lyfe: Have you checked your hyper stats and link skills? They both resetted after the update. As for LGR, I think it's bugged atm... it's happening to me too.

@iamaurian: did you try SP resetting and never adding any points in Soul Bomb? Apparently that works..
My kanna can't attack without instantly d/cing.
Same problem happening to me too... the lag is so bad, my lightning god ring doesn't summon lightning god to buff me, my range went down, V box didn't give me the lucid's flower chair, and suddenly having 1 extra skill point with nothing I can use it on for 4th job
Influx of people coming back because big update + 2x
Nexons servers aren't good enough to run it all smoothly.
