whats your definition of a committed relationship?
So recently my gf decided to call our relationship committed, which got me thinking what really does that mean? I thought it meant that you have aspects of your life to hold you together ex. I quit smoking to stay with her .
This got me thinking though, there's no clear definition to what a committed relationship is. So what does a committed relationship mean to you basil?

im 20 almost 21 and she didnt tell me to quit, I quit because she has asthma
it's an unnecessary and stupid label
i feel like it's pretty easy to gauge the level of the relationship without being arbitrary like that
I prefer open relationships where you and your girlfriend are just as comfortable around you as she is with her best friend. You guys would tell each other anything, you would screw around with strangers a.k.a prank people, but also be romantic at the same time.
Committed relationship means that if you get into a fight with her, you are simply NOT allowed to say 'break up' to deal with the situation.
For me it's when you expect to live with the person for the rest of your life on equal grounds and accept all of his/her faults and be able to live with those faults.
It's pretty much what comes with a typical non-divorce marriage
I guess it's where you say you want to be together for the rest of your lives and marry?
