Basils Guide to Proper Texting

Hey everyone!
Throughout quite a long period of time, I have seen some instances of texting that were quite annoying to me and I wanted to make a thread where everyone can say what they appreciate and what they frustrates them about ways of texting - sort of a text-manners thread, where we can all learn from each other. Here are my suggestions:
1. If you have something to write that doesn't need a reply / confirmation in-between, please write all of it in one message. (e.g. "Hey [name]! You forgot your games at my place. Come pick it up when you can." - Good. "Hey [name]!" "You forgot your games at my place." "Come pick it up when you can." - Bad.)
2. If you made a trivial spelling error, you don't have to correct it unless it changes the meaning of the text.
3. If you texted someone and he/she doesn't reply, give him/her some period of time to answer before you send another text or call - the time depends on the urgency. (If it's important and the person doesn't reply within 5-10 minutes then you may send another text or call, but if it's not critical, it won't do much good to send a million texts just to get the attention of that person.)
That's that for me. What about you? (Do you agree? Disagree? Do you have more?)

@muffinsx: I assume that in most normal conversations you don't really have to pay attention to these rules but it's just some effort that you might want to do if you don't want to annoy to much or whatever it is that you're trying to accomplish with this.
@tsubasa128: I think that it's fine in some contexts - only if you're looking for confirmation. (Though it does seem like you didn't care to put much effort into writing the message, which might be a bit of a downer for some.) However, when it's used in other cases, it is annoying.
@Elasmobranch: You can always try to write slower (Which I don't have the patience to do.) or turn on autocorrect. (Probably not a good idea due to the many cases where it only makes matters worse.) I do appreciate the fact that you care about correct spelling, though. Thanks!
@ThotsRUs: It might be obvious to most, but appearantely it wasn't so obvious to the people who I texted with. (Or those betas and cling-ons you mentioned.)
@tyana: Thank you!
