Plate crafting and accessory crafting not working

Wasn't sure if this was supposed to go in MS General or Tech, so yeah o.o
The problem: Whenever I try to craft something, like a bronze plate, ring, etc. the little bright progress bar reaches the end, but it still says "Crafting in progress.." even though my character isn't doing a crafting animation - it's just standing there. I've tried waiting it out because I thought it was just my everyday lag, but after 10 minutes, it still said "Crafting in progress" with no other button to push than "cancel". Also, the same situation's been happening when I use someone's extractor: the flashy progress bar reaches the end, but my character doesn't do a 'WOOHOO!' pose to indicate that it's done.
But I've noticed that on my other character that's an alchemist, everything works fine. The herb boiling, potion crafting, extracting, fusing, whatever. The problems only appear when I use this character
Has anyone else been having the same problem lately? Or is it just me I've tried fixing it by restarting my computer and everything, but it still doesn't work. I need to craft my earrings
