Should I call back the place I applied to again?
Yesterday, I had called this retail store that I applied to (escape outdoors) so that I could check in on my application. It turned out it was the manager that I was talking to and she had said that she can try to set up an interview the next day (which is today). So far, its been about 7 hours since they've opened and I have not received a call yet.
Should I check in again to make sure if they forgot to call or not? Or should I just keep waiting for them to call me up?

I would have been very proactive about getting them to set up a time for the next day if an interview were to occur then.
The fact that they didn't set up a time leads me to believe that they either played you, or certain things have gone differently than planned (they may have a round of applicants already lined up and may not be putting you as priority). Either way, I would keep applying to different jobs in the meanwhile, but do call them just to check.
