How to not get distracted
Seriously. I am pathetic at staying focused. I don't know how people do it. I procrastinate SO MUCH. I stay up late everyday, not because I'm doing homework, but because I get so distracted with other things. I probably do homework, on average, one day a week, holy crap.
I have a project that was issued out [i]a month ago[/i] and I haven't started it. Technically, it was due yesterday. But I have a sort of grace period until tomorrow night.
[i]I have not started this project yet.[/i] It will count for about 25% of my first report card, probably. ('Cause my freaking teacher is only giving us like 5 assignments until the first report card which is ridiculously close to the beginning of the year. How are you supposed to evaluate a kid's marks in like, one freaking month?)
Anyways, after said project, I have [i]another[/i] huge group project that is probably weighted the same, and was issued out a month ago, and which is due in about 5 days, [i]which no one in my group has started yet.[/i]
ANYWAYS, Basil, how do you stay focused? (And no, I hardly play Maplestory.)

I have the same exact problem i do my hw like during my classes. say i have study hall, then french 4, then AP world history, and then math one day. i do my french/AP in study hall. then I do the rest of my AP hw in french, then in AP i do my math hw! it works except for projects... then im screwed:/ like i had to read like 400 pages by the 10th? im on page 21

Um ... okay. Research project on a famous Canadian. Said Canadian is Peter Mansbridge. The only book out on him/by him is about some of his famous interviews.
After that, I have to make a visual presentation about him. Then, hand it in digitally by internet.
If anything, turn off the computer. Don't even have it near you. Chuck it out the window and go into a soundproof room.
No one will hear your screams.

I do this, except I work for maybe five minutes, and give myself breaks that range from 1 hour to 3 hours.

No, I get above 90% in all my subjects, except gym sometimes lol. It's not that I don't understand the subject material, I just have a very stupid mindset.
