The scarlet ring works as a second ring sort of like duo pendants so you can always replace the belt for the ring instead of a duo pendant for the 4 set. Otherwise with the scarlet ring, you can also pull off the reinforced and superior 3 sets with 30 att instead of the % boss/ ignore (better if you have high % boss already or cap).

Why? Fully scrolled gollux equips easily outdo any scrolled scarlet counterparts.

You can do the three-four gollux set with a tyrant belt. Honestly, the gollux belt is crappish vs an enhanced tyrant one (in that the tyrant one has more att after 8-9+ stars as well as 100+ more all stats).

If you're not going for the 3 set effect of gollux and beyond then tyrant + dom is better otherwise gollux.
