To make or not to make with the gear I got?
Hey guys I plan on making a paladin or continue my aran, with the gear I have. So far I have 50 to 60% str gear, decent hb/haste (if this skills even help a paladin), and a 176 crushed skull with a 12 atk shield.
Would my paladin be better with that gear than my aran for bossing?
Would the paladin be superior in damage compare to my aran?

considering aran currently has the lowest dps in the game (sad but true), make a pally. or a ds. or anything but an aran.

I could help you get ACB when you hit 100 if that's any incentive to make a pally . I have an ACB skillbook sitting around if you can scissor it, or I could take you on Zak runs .

true that. My pally with clean purple senior with 4% str gear and a 124 att sword can do the same dmg (14-17k range)
If you like a challenge, make a Paladin.

Is this on normal mobs or bosses?
Plus should I make a UA or normal paladin? Seeing all the positive feedback I might make a paladin.
I have a demon slayer, I lost interest when I failed Dark Metamorphosis 5 times and still not succeeded. Those book cost me bank back then so I just quit my DS. Plus DS feels kind of OP IMO and makes it a bit boring.
You can also make a Demon Slayer, since you have a Crushed Skull.
You a pally. Arans are slow, button smashers. I made one to lv160 and was really boring.
Paladins on the other hand is strong attacker and a tank. They can solo Chaos Zakum with like a 20k range.
I've seen plenty of PSBs floating in Khaini.
You'll be wanting % boss or % atk or %pdr on the skull, not % str.
Shields can get weapon potentials now, so I think you'd rather those instead of % str as well
So far my aran as a 138 atk pole arm, need to get a better one and it is hard to find one in khaini ><
Getting the books for paladins are really hard.
I have been soloing hilla and zak with a friend to help him get his aca lv 10 I havent gained a single paladin book.
I have gained many aran, theif books but not paladins.

It depends on the weapon of your aran, but a 176 att crushed skull with a 12 atk shield should be pretty good damage wise.
With that % str and weapon/shield, I think youd be doing 200k-250k~ Lines with blast?
1v1 I would say the paladin would be better.
I do enjoy playing paladin more than I did my aran - If fun is a factor on your decisions :]
How about soloing bossing, would the aran be better or paladin?
no for both. i think with my generic % str and a 150 attack sword, my pally comes in at about a 35k range with a little over 100% str
