@Dorks Thanks for the input. I'm only using Empress, though. I've had it for forever, and don't want to fork out the cash for an upgrade because everything is unique or higher. I'm making the switch today.

OT: Your range should be higher. When I was perfecting my faf claw it was giving me a 200+k range boost compared to my x%luk 196atk SW claw
but at the same time the faf claw has a 33% attack potential and ended up being 232 atk so +__+
idk I found that I got the most redonk range boosts ever when I was playing NL
With a good claw, probably around 140-150k range buffed. Maybe more.

simply there isnt. because there so many factors to know your range/damage.
@xUs3rNam3 , I'm just using full empress on it. And the katara is a Loveless Katara.
It will be quite a jump since you get 25% total damage from a 3rd job skill as a NL. Don't forget you're losing higher base att on a dagger, and also the attack, and 30% boss from a SW katara if you're using one. They're pretty balanced. It depends on your playing preference.

the only thing i know with that kind of "low range"(db's are only good when heavenly funded). you will do more damge on a nightlord with a similar claw and secondary equip.
Claws have a high multiplier

It depends if you have a decent dagger/katara, but dual blades usually have lower range than nightlords
