Headphones and the sort

Just curious as to what sort of sound equipment you guys have... whether it be headphones, buds, in-ears, headsets, etc.
Post them here for Basil to see

What I have:
AKG K311 as my primary travel earbuds
JVC HA-FX22 as a secondary pair
Sony MDR Z100
Sony MDR XD100
Apple earbuds (came with my iPod; never used them)
AKG K143 HD (monitor headphones, using these on my laptop)
Sennheiser HD 280 (another pair of monitors and my main pair in front of my desktop)
Corsair HS1 USB (sounds surprisingly similar to a monitor :O)
Tritton AX PC Pro
Stagefront Pro 770FX
And one of those basic Logitech speakers

So what sort of crazy stuff does Basil listen with?

@Ramunesun: They basically add more juice to speakers and make them sound louder without (hopefully) distortion.

...Just Sony earbuds. I recently broke my Wicked ones, and I'm cheap.
@Ramunesun: Could depend. Devices iPods won't be able to fully power up the "bigger" headphones (stuff that's like 45ohms or more should would prolly suffer, I would think). I'm not sure about the specifics, but I'm not totally sure if the iPod (using this as an example, because, well, y'know.) can pump out anything more than 160kbps on mp3 either...

Having an amp or soundcard helps a lot on the computer if you're using high impedance headphones, but a lot of the more general-purpose headphones are only around 32 ohms, though (your TMA-1 included).
ah. Yeah, I'm still not really clear on what amps do. As for my portable mp3 player, I'm driving with a Cowon S9

A basic pair of Turtle Beach headsets doesn't seem that expensive if you're just in it for the brand... o_O

I'm thinking of getting Audio Technica ATH-M50's off craigs for 85 bucks. Are they worth it?

OT: Just apple earbuds and Koss PortaPros.

I had a TON of headphones I tried before, but that's only because I have super rich friends that are nice and give me a chance to try out all their expensive things.
The ones I own now:
Sony MDR-V600
HD 280 Pro's with Blu-Tack mod
HD 380 Pro's (Returning those soon, I prefer my 280's for the price)
Random cheap earbuds, about 4 of them
Random headset for vent, skype, steam and stuff
Tritton AX Pro's
Astro A40's

Yeah, I have the A40's and the AX Pro's...
Never tried the TMA-1, but I heard it's bassy :x
They are quite punchy, but I wouldn't say the low end drowns the rest out.
Contrary to what a lot of people say, I love the mids and trebles on that pair of headphones.

by the way how much does the listening device matter?
yeah I had my initial reservations about getting it for that reason and I was sort of disappointed at the sound.
I just traded it and some cash for my friend's TMA-1's

The beats can be beaten by sub-$100 headphones IMO. Monitor cans like the Sony MDR V6 sound just as good if not better at just around $60-70

Sennheiser CX300's are my main buds
Meelectronic Ai-M9's are just a backup. Don't really like the feel and fit.
Main cans are some Aiaiai TMA-1's. They function great on the go, too, and they're rugged as hell
Also got a pair of Grado SR60i's and Sony MDR-V6's (although I'm not too big a fan of the v6's flat soundstage. Too plain for me, not enough beef)
haven't gotten into amps or speakers although my car's stereo has really inspired a desire for a speaker system
Try the Stagefront Pro 770FX. It's a little expensive (lol $1600), but they sound pretty good
i've heard of those...

I need to save up some money. While 1600 is way more than I would spend, I do know that you do need a decent amount of money for good speakers...
I use Sennheiser HD 555s modded to remove the sound blocks which makes them sound almost as good as HD 595s (well so the internet says)

I kind of am tired of headphones though. I want to get really nice speakers instead.
The apple earbuds that came with my iPod, didn't feel the need to upgrade.
Logitech g330 for skype/vent/whatever
Panasonic SA-AK47 stereo from like 5 years ago
Bose Companion 2(computer speakers)

yeah my stuff is okay/not that good
