Gee whiz, Nexon

Anyone else got banned for someone who was hacking in your party? This is so frustrating. Banned for a month now and sent 2 tickets to Nexon, but nexon being nexon they don't reply. Last time when I sent them a ticket it took them so long that my ticket expired. Anyone else had that? Or is it just me they don't reply too..

@zEric7x:

Well I wouldnt be vouching for those type of people.
Only reason why I bring an opinion is because a few
months ago I was pyramid pqing on a mule and the
leader invited this guy. He said ahh man I'm a hacker
then we all kinda laughed it off as a joke then he started
floating and all that and I left the party and half an hour
later I was banned for a month I believe. But meh at least
it's not perma TS

Funny statement but seriously though
I am just saying by the time you realize
what is going on ofc you leave but what about
the seconds/minutes you spent in the party.
At least that's how i see it
That is a good point. If Nexon was that picky then that its stupid as sometimes legitimate people come into contact with hackers with out knowing it. I meant people who purposely leach of hackers but just don't care.
I didn't know the e-mail either since it was made when i was 12 and it was something embarrassing along the line of coolxtiger@... or something. it was also stated in my ticket and you are right it warrants a GMs attention, but i didn't get any.
Let me guess... in the ticket's sub-category, you chose the Password Reset option instead of the e-mail change or personal information option. That would be why it got auto closed since most "I need my password changed" issues can be done without a GM's help.

If I were you, send one in under MapleStory -> Account Information (category) -> Personal Information (sub-category). And, don't ask them to change the password. Let them know that you want to change the e-mail on a different account, and they should at least respond. Odds are that you'll need to do more extra work just to prove to them that it really is your account.
But... it is. They told you how to reset a password on an account, in case you don't know it. It also requires knowing the e-mail on the account.

If you don't know the e-mail on the account though, then that would be different. Sending them a ticket about being hacked and the e-mail being changed would warrant an actual GM response, especially since it's about another account.
Its not his fault in the slightest. He trained 5%, sometimes you don't even pay attention and just kill. I asked a level 200 to kill zakum for me and he ended up hacking and killed it in 5 seconds. Should I be banned because I should somehow know he is a hacker? No, that is ridiculous. I just left him straight after.

If you play long enough you can tell.
My advice would to leave a party or map when you suspect there is a hacker there.
Not really that simple. It was a request to reset the password of another account which had been hacked. I could see on the rank list that main had all his clothes taken away but this was pre big bang and getting it to level 120 was a big deal ( took me a whole year) so i wanted my account back no matter how little money i was left with. If they read my post they would have known instead of auto-closing it by a robot.

Not really. You asked about resetting your password, it seems. It took three clicks in their "Knowledge Base" to reach the same answer they gave you in the ticket.

The GMs shouldn't have to write out responses to general questions that are already answered. In a rather formal way, you're complaining that you didn't get to talk with a GM with no real purpose for doing so.
Its pretty stupid. Just ban the hacker. I think they just did it because you're black.

Fair enough, though it does bring another point.
Assuming you just got added into a party and left....
Honestly though, usually hackers are the only one
attacking at lhc while everyone leeches. So most
people would probably join no questions ask. A bit
tedious but I understand your point At least that's how
i see it.
my friend was leading the party actually and he kicked anyone who was afk without giving a good reason, unless it was someone who we knew. it's just that its very annoying that nexon doesn't answer what so ever, or they give a rather robotic answer which they probably copy pasted.
The response you got in that ticket is far different than "no GM has had time to look at the situation just yet and so the ticket has been closed", from what that screenshot alone shows.
@Rimkii: i haven't ever meet a party that lies about having a hacker in the party.
if you have ever been in a hacking party at lhc, you will know that the hacker will do 99%, if not 100% of the work while the rest will hang on the rope and leech.

there is alot of crap they need to fix with this game that they solely wont address the issue anyway, no point on sending a ticket either they'll never answer it btw.
a person could just ask if the party has a hacker or not. Especially in a place where hacking is well known.
people could lie about it or others can just dismiss the fact that someone in the party is hacking. yes, some hacks are hard to catch than others are blatantly obvious and with lots of people around it is difficult to find out who is the one hacking.

I spent 60 dollars on NX which is a lot for me, and I'd rather wait the month then start a level 1 character with 0 funds. So how much NX do you need for nexon to bow down to an earthling and hear me out next time?

I don't what happened to the title, I put brackets in instead I got the random "it" word. I guess, I don't really pay attention to how many monsters or how many lines someone is attacking for. Side not this not me complaining about being banned but for nexon never answering back. I get it, they found a hacker and banned all party members but they should still reply.
It was back when LHC was useful, I didn't know that lumi was hacking until a friend pointed out that he only attacks one monster at a time with apocalypse but hits it like 18 times with it. Even if it is 5%, every % counts.
Stop crying and get over it.
It's your own fault.

You want sympathy for being in a party with a hacker? The fact that you knew it was a hacker in your party means you did it willingly. It's against the ToS to be in a party with a hacker so I don't know why you're complaining.

2. It is your own fault profiting from a hacker, use your brain next time.
