Returning to maple. Need advice
I've quit MS for a long time. After years now I am returning for casual playing. I don't intend to Pay-to-win, that was the reason I quit MS a long time ago plus my account got compromised and I lost everything I had. So I got nothing. I heard Reboot server is not pay to win, would someone help me with this? What's the difference? Is it worth playing in it? Is MS worth returning? Lol thanks for help !
And what would be a good class to play in Reboot? Right Now I'm a Thief enthusiast, I've played mages but swapped to Assassin as soon as it launched (yup, in the beginning of this game). Became a NL when 4th job released. And I loved my NL since then, also played Shadower, DB and Phantom.

In my opinion, Reboot is a lot of fun and there are always heaps of people on, especially if you get into a guild. Keep in mind that everything is meso based so you'll need a meso farmer if you want to be able to progress in the game. Depends on your definition of P2W. Reboot arguably still has P2W elements, like for example you would have to buy a pet in order to loot items and train effectively (with the exception of Hilla's pet, but that's only at a much later stage unless you get lucky with even Normal Hilla). Many others, via means that are against the ToS, obtain other accounts that already have access to high leveled characters and high amounts of meso/equipment in exchange for cash, although this can be said for all servers. It can also be said that Reboot is way less P2W than other servers since you're not spending NX on 2x EXP coupons, cubes, IA circulators, etc.
I can't tell you whether or not it is worth returning to MS, although I will say that there aren't as many players as there used to be but it can still be quite active sometimes. There has been a lot of new updates and features that have been added since you left. I think any new class you haven't tried out yet will catch your interest.

I just started the game. I started in Scania since it had the most people. Is Reboot better than Scania?
Reboot: Cubes and similar items cost MESOS,& trading with other players is disabled (same with dropping). This is great because you're not blowing cash on NX and you need to work for everything you have. Many players like reboot, and that is why it's the most popular server (I think it's more popular than scania?). Due to the population and trading being disabled there tends to be more teamwork / overall friendliness than other servers.
Classes: If you're wanting to stick to your thief roots, Nightlord tends to be on the upper 1/3 of the DPM chart in almost every patch. They're great bossers and pretty good mobbers. As long as you're having fun you can't go wrong.
