To all Night Lords of Basilmarket

Do any of you know if Triple Throw's formula changed again?

It seems all my attacking skills (Lucky Seven, Drain and Avenger) follow my damage range * skill power formula (Range * 4.23 = Avenger) and so on.

Well today I was comparing that and I found out that Triple Throw hits lower than it should..
Drain has a power of 263% (240% Base + 23% of Lv9 ETSH) and my TT Lv20 has also a power of 263% each star.

Well, my range was about 10k and I was getting the 39k's crits tops from Drain (9890 * 2.63 * 1.5 = 39,xxx) but I was only getting 34k's TOPs on TT's side.. when they are supposed to hit the same.

Do any of you NL's, know anything about?

and yeah I know my range sucks, just got back to maple that's why I don't know what happened ._.
Formula hasn't changed since our damage nerf from Big Bang. But you can't really look at just the face values of the damage from the skills and ETSH accumulated. You have to look at the bigger picture, meaning upper bound and lower bound damage, how much total damage you hit (3x for TT and 2x for L7, based on number of stars). Then you have to factor crit rates. Don't forget that TT has a built-in PDR effect, so it will clearly outclass L7 with just that single aspect
Formula got nerfed in chaos

I have to say I admire your positive outlook towards our class through all of the complaining and negativity, and I agree. Thief class is in a league of its own.
OP: I believe in one of the recent updates they raised the % of TT, but changed the formula so that it was actually lowered. I'm not too sure about the specific details since it won't effect me for a few more levels.

But rest assured, NEXON at last recognized how lame they are so they will get a revamp on around march 2012
Actually, Wist was right. The TT formula changed during the Chaos patch. She said the nerf was about a 10%+ damage reduction or so. Look at this.

If you scroll to the Thief section, Nexon briefly mentions "* Night Lord: Triple Throw's damage formula has been changed to be similar to the damage formula common for most skill. Its skill damage has been increased."

IIRC, the exact formula hasn't been found on SP. Not sure if someone else (maybe someone from kMS) has found it or not.

I know what you say, I was talking about a single star damage hit. The examples I gave were the biggest hits I was getting with said range and with the shown %'s. Then if I was getting the 34k's factoring in PDR that means TT formula is even more nerfed? Lol

I know I reach about ~11k w/ buffs and still hit crap w/ TT20.

Anyone knows the new formula? Hope nexon fixes this during the Thief+Pirate revamp ._.
