What I learnt from running 5km everyday for 5weeks is that even when you feel like walking keep in jogging, and always pace you're self, you dont want to run to fast or else you'll feel pain D:

Running in the morning is better than running in the afternoon IMO. Try to regulate your breathing, not too fast and not too slow. I recommend eating some kind of carbohydrates the day before. Keep hydrated, but don't run on a bloated stomach.

Yeah I agree with the "breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth" thing.
I've been taught that as well.
But more importantly.... just keep running, don't stop no matter what.

Breathe through your nose, out through your mouth. It's pretty hard doing it but yea, give it a try. Drink a lot of fluids during the day and not right before the run. Make sure your shoes are tied, swing your arms in a motion such as holding a pair of daggers and not how you usually run with those hidious forms. DO NOT STOP and keep pushing yourself. Cross-Country for the win?
