Pre Post BB 4th Job

Hi Basil! With BB on its way in the next few months, I'd like to ask if I should raise Sudden Raid early into 4th job. I play Maplestory on and off, not entirely that often. I also tend to get distracted, stray off into other games, hang out w/friends, and as of recently I'm usually doing homework. I don't really have any connections for bossing so I don't boss at all.

So to put the most into my training, should I raise Sudden Raid earlier and when BB comes reset my SP? And if I should, could someone help me figure out how to distribute my points to get the most out of it?

EDIT: If I shouldn't raise SR for training, should I raise Final Cut instead? The whole point is to speed up my training before BB and reset after. Will this be more effective than SR?

I prefer Thorns, then chains, then Final Cut. Im lv 132 right now and i get recruited for zak cause i have thorns. It decent having thorns IMO.
Well, potions I can handle. Great equips? No. Unless those two really do tie into each other.

If I do go grind build, I'm assuming its not the thorns, COH, stack effect. Whats the order I go in?
You're grinding so you're basically mobbing.
Sure, you want some moves for fun. So 1 Coh is fine or 1 sudden raid. Might even help in Skeles at times. Using iframes correctly.
Grinding build is basically 1 Venom, 1 Thorns, 1 Final Cut or 2 Thorns 1 Final Cut at 120
Then max Thorns then max Final Cut. Then some people either max Maple Warrior because of the damage boost. Why not venom? You'll kill too quickly.
Then after that is basically a bossing build. Then max COH, the rest is up to you on what to max.

The grinding build is one of the overalls best. Decent damage and are decent to boss with. So its not all that bad. You also level quicker and it gets more fun. Instead of just spamming sudden raid. However, this is all opinion.

Suddian raid seems like a good way to level but I perfer not to be like a mage and use skills to level.
If youre not funded, dont bother going sudden raiding. Mp pots will be used more than grinding.
So go grind build.

@x3Ren and johny2toes : I am by NO means funded. By 130 I'd probably have a range up to around 5k (possibly more) or so, solely (or mostly; it depends) by connections. I highly doubt I can pull off something like that player in the video.

@adapolski: Could you give me your damage range for an estimate of seeing how well I would do? Albeit a rough one.
I know many Dbers in Mardia that 1hit skeles at 140-150 before RGTS training, so dont say it will take 5 hit ko if you dont know. Im not "Godly" and i hit 25k's with lvl 1 SR, therefore maxed, i shall assume will kill skeles, but im not sure.
Okay, thanks. Do you happen to know what level the SR was?
He had level 11 Sudden Raid with max thorns but he can always 2 hit them even without crits.

@sniffy: It's not possible for SR to even 3 hit KO Skeles unless you're funded enough to get quite a few items to Unique potential... Actually forget 3 hit you'll be lucky to 5 hit them before lv 170.
SR is never effective without the funding that it'd take to mass cube your katara to add atk % and most of your other items % luk or all stat.
Sudden Raid sucks to begin with.
it does 13k at best at lv 1 for the most of players and it's not going to really ever increase as it's raised higher.
It's more useful after BB then what it is before it.
Is it ? I heard at a certain level it becomes better to train with, but becomes inefficient at 150 when RGTS training is most efficient. I know for a fact I will not be hitting 150 in a few months.

@Above 2HKO on which monster?

@General: When you refer to '2HKOs' or '1HKO's you are referring to solid 1/2HKOs, not taking into account criticals, right?

If you got 10k attack range, it's pretty decent. 2 hit kill.
