Is Pokemon Or/as worth it?

I wanted to ask because I am debating if I should get Fantasy Life or Pokemon AS.

I already have Pokemon X AND Y, I already caught 'em all. 718 Pokemon + Diancie
I do expect it to be "the same experience." (I know pokemon games are basically the same, I'm talking about the new 3DS-ish experience)
I don't remember liking R/S/E that much, but ironically, Kyogre is my favorite legendary.

I own both Fantasy Life and AS but I put way more time into Fantasy Life. Especially when I got my friend to join my game and we did some of the DLC stuff in it. Super fun.

You think XY was better with your criticism for ORAS being the lack of end game content..? XY was worse in that aspect. Much worse.

As an owner of both fantasy life and Pokemon OR, It really depends on what kinda genre you're seeking. Pokemon OR/AS is a remake with some new features, but overall i wouldn't rank it the most breathtaking game of them all. I'd definitely recommend XY over ORAS if you are looking for 3ds pkmn games. Fantasy life on the other hand has a fresh feeling, very addictive, unique to itself and the multiplayer is a game changer (if you got friends with it, that makes it 100% worth buying). Just all depends on what you want overall. I'm sure you googled these games

well for me the best game has been probably emerald up to that gen and then maybe pearl/platinum.
havent finish oras yet but the idea of being able to catch deoxys i like a lot.
also it brings back good memories with new variations, pokemons and forms.
as a pokemon fan all my life i wouldnt have doubt buying the game, hence why i bought a 3ds just for x/y before...

I don't understand why there is all this hate for oras, especially considering that everyone wanted it so badly before it came out. I got AS, and it was an amazing game, with a great story line, especially with the new delta episode, great new features(flying is really awesome), and it is getting future patches with new battle frontier. So many more awesome things about it too that I don't want to list. My personal favorite thing from ORAS is being able to catch Deoxys(which was originally only an event pokemon) in space, which has been like a dream for many pokemon players. And, you also have the ability to make the game more difficult for you by turning off exp share, using only pokeballs, and setting your battle style to set rather than shift. It can be very awesome and fulfilling if you choose to make it awesome and fulfilling.

Completely worth it. The only thing that isn't available yet is the battle frontier, but that will be put in later.

AS, X and Y = worst pokemon games. I'd avoid Pokemon until they get their stuff together.

I stopped playing AS after an hour.

I liked X&Y more

To me, my Alpha Sapphire doesn't hold a candle to my Y. If you thought X & Y spoonfed you, ORAS does all that and more. Yeah, it was a huge part of my childhood, and I love the game, but I wouldn't bother too much with it frankly. It was way too easy for me and I hate the lack of trainer customization.
