Reboot World Advice
Hello everyone, I was just looking to see if I could get a bit of information and assistance for Reboot world.
I've been farming and leveling link mules since the server started, I had made an i/l mage but it didn't really go far, as it wasn't my thing. I currently have 40b pure meso and all major link skills done.
I was thinking about making a shadower and trying to obtain -5 second CD to spam Meso Explosion, but I've read some where that there's a hard cap on CD that you can't bypass using -CD items. I'd like to know if anyone tried and has physical proof this won't work (Do not just tell me it won't work and repeat what you heard, if you didn't physically do it or see it, obviously you know about as much as I do, please don't reiterate what was already said.)
If this doesn't work, what class would be best given perfect circumstances and the funding I have currently.
I was trying to decide between NL, Phantom, Xenon, Wild Hunter, or maybe a Bowmaster, but I'd like opinions on which would be the easiest and the fastest to be able to kill (maybe even solo) end game bosses such as cRA and Hard Magnus. (Obviously Lotus won't be soloed any time soon and I doubt it'll be killed legitly for a LONG time in Reboot)

@highqualityz: I appreciate your input, I was considering NL because of the ability to switch from Shad should something go wrong, like the CD removal not work, I used to have a Phantom and they are really strong, and apparently with the upcoming Hyper Skill change they get that much better, that's why I was debating that, Xenon was more for fun and not for dps but I don't really care for them as much anymore... WH I have in Nova and they're fairly strong, but I think if I went bowman I'd do bowmaster. Not really considering any mages besides perhaps remaking my Kinesis which probably won't happen.

Im a lvl 191 BaM and even though im not the most funded (300k range) id say they are very strong overall aa soon as you learn to tele-shock final blow. They are very fun and in the korean dps chart they are at 10th place i beleive.
If you want to go dps wise phantom is great since you can steal damage buff skills from other classes that make your range and damage go up. So you can easily go higher then 2m-2m at a certain point of your fubding since, for exemple, my phantom had 30k clean and 110k self buffed.
Pick a class that you will like. Wh are strong but i dont think they will last too long. Feel free to add me in game (ign: highqualitys)
Edit: if you were looking forward to making a NL i was told NW are a better version of NL so check them out too.
@bradleetee: "avg dps" we're near the top with WH and BM what are you talking about. We aren't even getting nerfed in the upcoming patches we're getting buffed?
My only advice is dont go with Phantom. They've got a long list of incoming nerfs that will make their already avg dps complete trash

Reboot did what its name implies in many ways. For a lot of people, they know they won't be able to solo the super hard bosses on Reboot. But for them, including myself, being able to solo the Hardlux, CZak, CHT, PB, etc. are awesome achievements even though they're not bosses people don't consider strong/major on regular servers. If Maplestory closed today, I'd be really happy I was able to solo them during the game's duration. ^_^
When it comes to CRa, HMag, etc., a lot of people on Reboot work together. Legit life is rough, but unity does overcome some of it. The people I HMag'ed with for my cape, they're legit good players who worked together to take him down. Timing the binds, watching the number of revives, etc.
As for nolife'ing it, well, it's Maplestory. I know it's just pixels, but I looooooooooove the Meister Ring I crafted. It took time to gather the stuff to make it and yesterday I supernolife'ed grinded for mesos in order to get it to Legendary (Went to Kerning City and begged the Dark Lord for LUK in order for it to happen LOL). In a game where people used to cheer on others as they'd grind away countless hours at Himes/Skeles, I'd say I'm quite comfortable with what I did. lol
@zcrimsyn: you're actually wrong. I know a few 100% legit people from reboot that can solo cra except cvel. Hard magnus you can do with around an 800k range as proven by many videos. Cvel I know legits that can duo.
but I don't bot... I work 40 hours a week and abuse events whenever I can on Reboot.
As for your class selection just go with your initial thought, usually turns out to be the right choice.
@terrorface: okay "major bosses" aka cra, hard mangus, Hellux, Lotus, etc. In MapleStory there is no real such thing as end game or major bosses since the game is too p2w already or everyone bots. So you know what I mean. In Reboot server it's impossible to solo those bosses legitly. At least not in a timely matter. You would need to spend a long time no lifing the game out to get anywhere. Hence the reason majority of people bot and the ones that say they don't are either denying it, using an alt to bot, or being carried by other hackers.
Even if you got 36% luk on every equip you still wouldn't be able to hit good damage with meso explosion so no point, db would be better in every way. Make maybe a night walker or something if you want a % luk bossing class. Night lord is a good option too. -5 is possible on regular servers, but without bonus potential it's not really going to happen on reboot. Don't forget you can also use mercedes card.

from strong nls i know in reboot, 40b won't get you to 2m range regular buffed even with a risk holder. I'd personally recommend a wh, since they are a good bossing class. Bowmaster is also a good option but wh has easier control. I wouldn't personally recommend xenon and their bossing is not as great. Night Lord I do enjoy playing, but from what you're looking for: bossing potential, boss killing speed, control, NL might be a tiny bit on the weak side but do have easy control due to dark sight which will be good even with nerfs. Phantom I don't have enough experience to talk about, but I have played the other 4 enough.

@spyro: You won't be able to kill any major boss with out hax. Either just bot or get someone to kill for you. No way anyone can legitly solo major bosses in that server. You would literately need to farm no lifing for a long time to get anywhere close to be able to take on those bosses with out hacks.

@wall: I don't recall asking for any comments in regards to my meso, and nice job implying I bot. I asked a question pertaining to specifically, shadowers vs cd removal, and job choices, not for some arrogant Socially Needy child to post on my thread like he chooses to do with everything that shows up, whether his comments are relevant or not.

Go wild hunter duh. Reboot is the only server where dpm charts matter and wh remains #1 for at least 2 more months
