Anyone know what movie this is? A couple years old/

Its about a kid who wakes up and finds out he died.
He then has to solve his own murder mystery as a omniscient third person ghostish...
Sounds vague but I hope one of you remembers what the movie was called.
I think the kid had a bowl cut/JB cut, and in the trailer he said something screamed and threw some books around in his classroom only to have it return to place 1 second later before he realizes nobody can hear/see him.
