Question about drivers license restrictions

So I am 18 and currently in possession of a drivers permit which I got about 1-2 months ago. Since I am 18 I don't need to wait the 6-12 months required to get a full license (or so I believe in Missouri). My question is am I still restricted to driving only if I have a licensed family member in the car with me once I get my full license or can I have non-family passengers with me?

@sufferable: correct. Unless you have members of your immediate family.

1 friend under 19 = ok
2 friend under 19 = not ok
1 sibling under 19 = ok
2 sibling under 19 = ok
1 friend 1 sibling under 19 = ok
1 friend 2 sibling under 19 = ok
etc.
When you're 16 or 17 and you get your license (in Colorado), I'm pretty sure it was "you can't drive anybody under 21" for the first six months, and then for the next six months "only 1 person under 21 in the car at a time". The exception to this was if your parent was there, and you could drive family members under 21.

But yeah, for the most part, the cops will only hound you on this if you get pulled over for speeding or curfew.

OP, here's Missouri, took me <2 minutes to find:
"During the first 6 months, you may not operate a motor vehicle with more than one passenger who is under 19 years old and who is not a member of your immediate family.
After the first 6 months, you may not operate a motor vehicle with more than three passengers who are under 19 years old and who are not members of your immediate family.
You may not drive alone between 1:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. except to and from a school activity, job, or for an emergency, unless accompanied by a licensed driver 21 years old or older."

Interestingly, they replace "21" with "19", and "more than one passenger" with "more than three passengers" compared to Colorado. Lawl, the freakin' midwest...
So basically, I can only have one passenger under 19 during the first six months?

once you get your full license you're able to drive by yourself
in california, you're not allowed to have passengers with you within the first year of your license, but obviously no one listens to that

You're fine once you're 18. There are laws that are not enforced for people aged 16-17.

@fradddd: Oh Virginia is like Missouri haha. My friend actually drove her and 2 friends to school every day during senior year literally a few weeks after getting her license (and a car on the same day) so it yeah really doesn't matter.
I don't think you're restricted to only your family once you get a full license no matter what your age is. When I was in high school people would carpool to school all the time and so if it was restricted then the faculty would have done something about it. And I'm 100% sure that once you're 18 there are no restrictions when you have a license.
If you're 18 and have a full on drivers license you're on your own, there are no restrictions other than what kind of license you have, most people have a regular license which is basically you can drive 4 wheel cars, if you plan on using a motorcycle then you need to have applied for that.
I took my written test like 2 months before my 18th then i took the behind the wheel a couple weeks after, from then on i could drive on my own at any time of the day, at least in California.

Literally no one even the police said that they would get at you for breaking the rules of driving at times when youre not allowed to, or carpooling to school. Even with no family member. HOWEVER, if you get caught speeding or driving recklessly then you could have fines added up.
