I took Game/Software Development in high school and was exceptionally good at it. But the state of the industry convinced me to defer, even though I was like, extremely, extremely good at it. It's even more painful than going into medicine. x_x
Furthermore, the thought of being unemployed with a useless degree is terrifying.
