May I ask what your range / boss dmg is?

I must be bad at gollux then... I have 1m+ range and 270% boss and I fail at the eyes sometimes.. I switched to DB from NL recently and it is a lot harder.

Lol i had 625K range with 132% boss when i last failed. I switched to NL and had 500k range with only 47% boss and i finished it within 10~15 minutes lol. I want to switch back bc db is where i'd like to be but i'd like to be able to gollux hard on my db.

@imightwin: You can pb for a little while first. I think you should just give it a few trials and see what's comfortable for you.

So the main focus is to kill the middle with asura time, if not, we'll have to finish with PB. If we can get to the forehead before reaching 5 count, we'll finish?

Is Hard gollux possible to do with a shadower at 400k range 80% boss 50% pdr ?
I can kill the jaw as well but when i get to the eyes I instantly lose 5 lives within a minute =/

For the jaws it's easy. Once you start the eyes I just ignore the mobs and go all out with asura and pbs. The jewel will take no more than 3 seconds for you if you're still in asura form by the time the eyes end. If you did mean the jaws, just watch Duolaid's video and that's the way you should be clearing mobs.

@janny1993: You avoid the hand. The hand only is done on the side that he's facing. He can 1hko you with that shout skill but it doesn't happen that often

Around 10min iirc, but that's with taking my time. I could've done it a lot more quickly (prob like 5-7min) if I felt like it then.

I have 186% boss and a 530k range and I've been soloing hard for awhile now. You should do it with no problem.

@UAPaladin: How long do you take with that range? I was wondering if it was worth it for me to do gollux on my DB as well if it isn't too long.

500-600k range is enough to do hard gollux on a DB. Once you are almost done with the chin, just leave a tiny sliver of hp left and exit the head to the chest area. Wait there for all of your CD's to reset, buff back up, and go back in. Use Terms and Conditions right before you kill the chin (it takes time away if you have to cast it later; if you cast it later he'll almost definitely kill you/halve your hp/reverse your keys), then go up and asura right away. Always jump to the opposite side that the head's facing, and when asura runs out use BF or PB (but you have to jump) to finish off the eyes. Then just do the jewel and you're done.

You think a 725k range and 212% boss can solo the eye without any problems? and i just saw your hell mode gollux run. The image is a big change lol. saves a good few minutes off the clock.

keep asura for the eyes then, make sure that you have THORNS on else you get kicked.
You know, you dont have to solo, you can use another computer or bring a luminous friend !

Well i'm more concerned about the eyes. The jaw i can kill, not as fast as you obviously but the eyes, i can't kill that quick. I'd constantly die from the 5 count mobs.
