Yes you can do this as well.
If your other keys are spamable, change your keyboard settings on maple.
I have all my attacking/buffing/pickupitems skills on qwertasdfgzxcvb and I moved everything to other buttons like F8 F9 F10 F11 F12 67890-= and removed stuff I never used like Tot's or silent crusade or magic wheel etc.etc.

Sounds like a case of filter keys. You can disable it in the control panel.

Have you check your key repeat settings in your control panel?
