In terms of fun and damage since the revamp.

Jett is at the handicap table with hayato and mihile. But yeah sure, try it out, the link skill adds like 35 of everything.

Depends on you. Every class is worth maining if you enjoy it.

@Omniscient1: I don't see how Jetts are a Rehash of Sair or Bucc at all since the revamp, sure, before the revamp they did have some reskins of mainly sair skills, and an octopunch look-a-like. But Personally i don't see any class that looks the same as Jett, the Jett revamp basically made Jetts into a new class full of different, unseen skills. Personally as a someone who's maining a Jett right now, In terms of fun, Jetts are actually the most mobile class on GMS right now, you cannot say no, I actually raced my friend on his account with every character he had (yes he has every class), and they all came up short by minimum of 3 seconds (which was Kanna) They can flashjump upwards twice, while most classes can't.

In terms of Damage, I honestly say theyre the same as any class, YOU HAVE TO FUND A CLASS TO MAKE IT GOOD, you cant just sit there without funds and say you're weak, cause ooooobviously you're going to be weak without them, Look at ol' @Kuze over here Capping Max Damage as a Jett, once you watch his bossing videos, you really cannot say Jetts are weak, it all depends on how you fund and take time on funds, not sitting around and waiting for Dmg% on a skill make your Dmg better. So many haters on Jetts, yet they don't understand the concept of playing a class for fun, or if they want good damage then to fund. Maple Logic. </3

Fun is subjective. How can you tell someone what's fun and not fun? Some people find fun in doing high dps. Some don't.

OT: I would't main a jett. Jett's are just a rehash of sair/bucc. Might as well make a sair or bucc instead.

Here my take when it comes to maining a class, jett or otherwise: It is better to look at the playstyle, to be comfortable with the playstyle than rather playing what does the most damage.

Now of course damage is important, everyone wants to do good damage. But here is the thing, damage is in constant flux, nexon/wizet will also balance and rebalance again and most importantly damage can be easily fixed or tuned. For example if Nexon thinks Jetts are too weak, they can buff thier rapid fire to 300, they can buff the 2% chance to 20% whatever. The point is damage fixes are easy and are in constant change, if you play only for damage then you must know ahead of time that you will be constantly switching classes because Nexon is constantly rebalancing classes (assuming they are interested in having a balanced game).

Go for playstyle, watch the 3rd-4th job vids, do you see yourself playing as that class for any extended period of time. Do you actually have fun on that class?

As an example for damage vs playstyle: I hate the current incarnation of bowmasters, arrow platter, their new 4th job mobbing move etc... I just cannot personally stand it. If tomorrow Nexon where to buff bowmasters to be #1 dps, lets say hurricane does 500% damage per arrow, they now get 200 W attack from their mastery buff etc... -I still would not play the class no matter how hard nexon buffs bowmasters, simply because I do not enjoy the playstyle.

Ask yourself "do i enjoy the playstyle of the jett" then go from there. In terms of numbers and damage the balancing will come, some classes may take longer than others but the balancing will come
if you looking for a play to win class you could always go wind archer. no masterybooks needed. Dex is extremely cheap. Bowman gear is cheap. etc etc. But if you wanna play jett go ahead
Jett requires only 2 sets of mastery books, neither of which are necessary early on.

OT: Jett is quite a fun class. It seems a bit clunky to be honest, but that gives it its own flow. The main problem that I find with my Jett is that, despite multiple hp boosts, a Jett chugs more health pots than a hero (a freaky amount).
