if i use hawk buffs and swtich to cat mode, do the buffs stack?

You can keep the buffs from each animal but unless the buff is meow card (meow card stays in all modes) you have to do it in a specific way. Go into the animal mode to buff ex: hawk, right click the animal mode to get back into default mode, then switch to whatever animal and it should stay until the buff runs out.
They do.
I use card from cat mode and switch to Leopard mode all the time.
