Luminous outclasses bishops in both mobbing, and bossing.
If a fighting class is what you desire, take a luminous.

I find Bishop to be fun because of it's utility, and unique array of skills. Dispelling, Healing while attacking, and having no worries over curses, and death in long boss battles is just what I was looking for.

Lumis are wayyyyy better they outclass a bishop in everyway beside their hs (which is the only reason to even have a bishop IMO) bishops seem like they have low dps compared to Lumis equilibrium + ender spam but it's your decision. Both are good classes but peeps are gunna use u as a bishop

To be honest, I had this EXACT debate with myself a couple of weeks ago. I have also come to a decision.
Luminous
- amazing at mobbing, but it doesn't have any bossing specific skills. I mean it's not impossible to boss, but they are all mobbing skills. I love luminous, but I found as much fun reflection was, it could get boring at times, really just spamming a few skills over and over.
- Ray of Redemption could heal party members, its a great option, but I felt that it was very out of place.

Bishop
- Really good at mobbing, just not as wide range as luminous. Although it's really genesis and big bang, sometimes angel ray, I felt that it did not get too boring, since it is such a functional class. Going out into far places, mystic door, divine protection and healing party members is quite fun.
- Since bishop has so many party skills, DO NOT just stand there, HSing. Go out there and kill as well, Bishops can easily become boring if you leech all the time. If you act as if it were an attacking class, regardless of damage, it will still be fun.

OVERALL ASSESSMENT:
- Luminous is amazing mobber, lacks mobbing skills, which can be essential to places, such as Neo City, although not impossible. Skills are fun and cool, but thats it
- Bishop, mobs well, can boss with Righteously Indignant, the functionality makes it fun, for me

*This is a very biased response, but I have made both of these classes and this is how I felt*
