Anyone know the hits/s for phantoms post Kms buff?

Mille/platter combo. They are pretty lackluster atm. Still trying to decide if it's better to play a Nw, db, or phantom for bossing. What are you guys going to play in 6 months?

The fact that KMS hasn't killed it yet makes it more of a korean dream.

A Phantom soloed cvel in 5 minutes with turret and mille. To realize how amazing this is, you need to understand that Phantoms, unlike most every other job in the game that possess the ability to cvel, do NOT posses a burrowing hit. Phantoms lose out on that bit of DPS, yet, even so, they still kill cvel in 5 minutes. This is the degree of their attack speed.

But again with regards to attack speed, There's no need to hit that high or hit that fast if your goal is simply a chaos vellum kill. You can achieve your kill without that much attack speed.
Forget bowmaster attack speed with turret + hurricane + AFA... If you just used unfaltering arrows, you could still solo cvel.
cvel's not as hard as people make it out to be. You don't need 40 hits per second.
Mille becomes 130ms delay, meaning 7.69 hits/s, x 3 because it has 2 lines + the cartes from criting (assuming you always crit) making it approx 23 hits/s alone, plus the 8.333 from turret brings it up to 31.333 hits/s.

Also on the topic of picking a char, I'm switching from NW to Phantom solely because of the damage cap change on NW shadow partners (dropping from 50m to 30m).
I made the switch to BM instead, I was trying to reach a 12m range capping with all my hyper shadow. Really disappointing patch. This patch created the current status of mass exodus of NWs.

Honestly i wouldnt have quit my nw even if they nerf all the % dmg of quint to 100%, Make a db/nL/shadower since most of ur gear is xfer able and once u make the switch u can play 3 classes
Oh okay. Is this only a phantom nerf or was it for the original classes too?
All adventurer skill nerfs are applied to the adventurer of question, there are no phantom specific nerfs of adventurer skills other than the blanket dmg reduction and the fact that some skills cannot be stolen.
My numbers are including Phantom's cards at a 100% proc rate, also turret used to be 80ms delay meaning 12 hits/s but it's since been slowed down to 8.333 like Hurricane and RF.

Ah, thank you very much for these numbers. It's interesting to compare to DB's 1.3b dps, assuming you meant at attack speed 0. This is without phantom's cards though so I would imagine it to be even higher. Also according to Elufu's BM damage calculator, turret hits 14 times per second?

With the new cap implemented using triple sp you'd be doing 550m / throw, 2 throws per second with jump attacking, meaning 1.1b dmg/s. Currently my NW does 1b dmg/s WITHOUT using triple sp.

A Phantom capping on Mille and Turret post revamp would be doing 31 x 50m / s, which is 1.55b dmg/s, even more than triple SP NW.
Nws aren't that bad even with the cap lowered especially on stationary bosses. I tested the nerfed damage 50m/30m/20m/10m lines on hellux jewel and came to around ~20 seconds to kill the jewel. Kind of impossible for many classes to kill that fast. So having 50m every line is a bit ridiculous if you think about it. I'd stick to my Nw but I just don't like the feeling of having to upgrade again only to be weaker.
My NW is already overfunded as is because I was trying to cap with my 2nd SP on harder bosses, ended up reaching 43m on CVell with it when this nerf was announced, so I'd still have capped on my NW after the nerf regardless but I have no desire to continue playing with a straight 200m/s dmg loss without Triple SP. Moving to a Phantom makes the most sense for me personally but NW is still a solid class after the nerf as well so whichever suits you.

@yearn ikr. The only time was when they had the unnerfed arrow platter that made phantoms close to 40 hits/s.

@taisuke: i know so sad... Not sure why they had to add cooldowns to both nw dash and shad meso explode tbh...
yet continue to buff bm
Phantom feels like a failed bm honestly since their milles is hurricane times .40 after the update
I will probably try NW after the update since all other thief classes are poop except DB but those are boring tbh.

Probably but the funding needed and meso explosion nerf makes it unappealing.

I'm going to continue playing the same class I played the last three years.
I've heard some disappointment from NW mains (but they're still good, a bit better than NL), DBs cap out on damage with less high funds compared to Phantoms.
