Groundhog Day thread

Summary: Today will repeat FOREVER, you're the only one who realizes it, and there's no escaping the cycle; WHAT DO?

Let's say you woke up at 7 AM tomorrow, and it was still Wednesday, October 13th. In other words, you never progressed to the next day. Tomorrow never came. Instead, the day repeated itself, and you're the only one who remembers the events of the day. Everyone else thinks that it's just another normal day. So you assume it's just a really bad case of deja vu and you go through the day as usual. And everything that happened "yesterday" happens "today" as well. This October 13th is an exact clone of yesterday's October 13th, and you're the only one who knows. Exhausted and scared, you arrive home, pass out, and wake up the next morning only to discover that it is once again Wednesday, October 13th.

There is no escaping this loop for you. You are stuck in the same day forever. When you go to sleep, you will wake up and it will be 7 AM on October 13th again, and you will be the only one to remember any mayhem you may have caused previously. There is no way out. No matter what you do in your looped day, it will all be reset when you go to sleep. Staying awake all night won't work, either. At midnight, the cycle will magically reset itself. I just want to make it clear that no matter what you do, there is no possibility of waking up in the next day and being forced to deal with the consequences of your actions.

So, what would you do? I would spend lots of time mastering an instrument, and surprise everyone when, "one day later," I mysteriously became a piano master or something. Then I would try to rob a bank without a weapon, just to see what would happen.
What if you go somewhere and sleep there? Will you still wake up in the place you woke up this morning or what?
Sorry about the late response. If you were to drive to Mexico or something, and you fell asleep in your car on the side of the highway, then you would wake up in your bed (or wherever you fell asleep the night before) the next morning. As terrible as that sounds, it has some benefits. If you commit a crime and end up spending the night in jail, then you won't be in prison when you wake up.

What happens if you manage to keep awake until the next day? What would happen then?

Edit: My bad. Missed that one part. ._. It would get boring, unless I'm free to go wander off where ever I want.

LOL. Well, at least you'll know all the questions and you'll know exactly what to study, so you can get a perfect score so you can get into that college you'll never be able to go to...
After a while it would probably get really, really depressing.

When you say the day totally resets -- if you were to die or something, you'd come back to life the next day?
Yep. There's no way out. Not even death.
