But regardless, I don't think you should even bother trying to sell game names for money or mesos. If you have no use for it, just delete it and allow anyone to pick that name fair and square.

Agreed.

IGNs can be pretty fun to think up, but to be honest I don't think anyone would want AtilaThePun. That seems like a pretty personal IGN that is special only to you and IGNs like that are pretty cool too. If I were you I would delete the character if you want but then remake it on another server and never use it just in case you want to use the name again someday. I have a few IGNs like that that I may never use but when I want to make a new character I browse through them just in case.

It's the only thing reliable that you can collect on maplestory and know that nexon won't go and nerf or destroy its economy.

Nothing else means anything...I was one of the first people to hit 200...Nexon took down the ranks. I had a family with 1,500 ppl...nexon got rid of families. I collected tons of chairs...I got hacked because of nexon's database breach and now the chairs are incredibly cheap. I collected medals...and, well, those are still good. I love my LGM and Spring Flower Corsage...

But yeah, basically...there's nothing to collect in maplestory that is reasonably reliable to always be special and rare. Except for igns.

you know what would be original, the ign you want (one word) translate to another language, like mine: meiguan --> Bright/Pretty light/aura
