Pop music becoming less lyrical?
Maybe it's just me that feels this, but I feel like pop music is getting lazier and less... lyrical. As in repeating the same lyrics over and over.
I was listening to the radio, when I noticed that some song had a verse>really short chorus>really repetitive dubstep beat that lasted a while>chorus>?more dubstep?
So... has anyone else noticed this becoming common, or am I just crazy? or insane? or hallucinating? or all of them? or crazy?

Yes. It's all lame and, for the most part, thematically bland and unoriginal. The focus of most of the songs is 80% singing/lyrics and 20% stupid slightly catchy music with little complexity.
Pop music has always been lazily constructed to appeal to the tasteless masses for vast profits.
