Xbox One hate bandwagon Seriously?

Alright, I have to vent somewhere, so here you go basil.

So if you've heard of the Xbox One, you should probably know about the huge backlash towards it. The thing is, there really isn't any major reason to hate.
A lot of the anger stems from the fact that the reveal was supposedly bad. If it wasn't for that, the hate bandwagon probably wouldn't exist. The only reason people hate it though, is because there weren't many games shown at the reveal conference. However Microsoft had already stated that the reveal would focus on media related information, so they could unleash all the game information at E3.
Aside from that, there were other things making it worse, like the fact that the Xbox is a weaker console, and the used game fee (which Microsoft says is not real), among other things. But the reason i'm mad is because of all the immature hate everyone is throwing around. Every youtube video related to Xbox one is filled with dislikes from Playstation fanboys. People are just crapping all over Xbox One when it's really not bad, and not all the information for either console is out yet. It's foolish to go making decisions about which console is better months before either comes out, especially before all the information is out. Xbox one has yet to reveal it's list of exclusives. (Well one was leaked.) I'm not denying that Xbox One has problems, but don't count it out yet.

And all of this is CONFIRMED by Microsoft with their press statement.

I have been playing Xbox since the original Xbox, but I'm going back to Sony. There is no way in hell I'm spending my money on this piece of garbage.

As a XBox 360 user I say "Please let these be rumors, please.".

As a gamer I say "I already have a TV! And I don't want to buy another mic because of XBone's new controller design.".

As a reasonable person I say "Lets wait until E3 to get the real information, then start ranting either negatively or positively.".

The XBO is not intended to be weaker than the PS4. It supposedly uses the cloud to enhance its specs three fold, which would put it way ahead of most PCs if it actually works as they intend it to...

From what we know, XBO will likely have about 10 less dedicated titles than the PS4 during the first year or two, but it is also known that Sony is counting arcade games and games that are being re-released on the PS4. So it could possibly balance out to 30-30 for each console. But I do have to admit that the addition of Planetside 2 and Diablo 3 are going to make some XBO fans jealous.

The fee for using used games on a different profile has not yet been completely explained. The feature was designed to slowly ween gamers off used games and in turn put more money into studios/publishers over time. They have chosen the path of charging some players a small fee instead of increasing the price of all games by $10. So over time it will likely save you alot more money.

The "spying" Kinect feature is another huge controversy that has its faults with Microsoft not opening the announcement with the ability to customize and in some cases turn off the feature.
something a lolpcgamer wouldn't understand. l0l@ spending $600-1000 for a build to play crappy grindfests and games already on consoles
The same could be said to consoles you spend 400$+ for console and accessories.. also video games on pc are usually way cheaper than on consoles.. tsk tsk console peasants.

@box
No you don't, you only have to upgrade if you want to my other desktop uses a gtx640 graphics and can still run today's games on med ~high settings. Again console peasants

No backward capability, can't play used games before paying a fee. No wonder Nintendo is winning.

And then you have to spend a bunch more upgrading it a year and a half later.

The Xbox One is just really dumb. But I wouldn't go all the way to shove my opinion/hate down people's throats. God, those haters are just as horrible as a religious bigot.

The main reason no one likes it is because there's no reason to buy it over a PS4. Considering they're so similar, if the XBone only has negatives to set it apart, no one will buy it. If E3 doesn't show some really impressive exclusives for the XBone, the console is dead.

I'm no PlayStation fanboy (my only sony is a PS2 lol) but I just plain don't like it. The voice command stuff is a stupid gimmick. People will just troll saying "Xbox off" to turn it off immediately. Intergrated Kinect. It just makes it more expensive. I could go on.
