My genius dad

He sends me to school when I'm sick.
The next day, he doesn't send me to school because I was sick yesterday.

My dad is such a genius.

@Capricious: Nah, I've had like a 102 degree fever before and he was just like, "Take this, now get to school." I felt like crap so I had to go to the nurse that day to go home and she was kinda annoyed at my dad because of this, lol.

The only reason why I ever stay home is if I'm throwing up because ofc I can't do that at school

I remember when being sick was a good enough reason for me to not go to school. I'm sick right now, and there's no way I'm missing class.

I skipped one day last year for illness. And that was because I had a 3 hour test that day + 4 hours of class, and I wanted to make sure I had enough energy to write the test, so I bailed on all my other classes and slept.
Yeah, my dad's a doctor so apparently I'm never sick enough to stay home
o.o You would think a doctor would understand that it's not about being "Sick enough," but rather trying to prevent the spread of germs or the illness.

Your dad probably just wanted to see if you were faking it. If you managed to make it through one day of school, come home looking/feeling fine, then he would've sent you back the next day?

Asian Parenting doesn't consist of "sick days". Silly Caucasian influences.
