You totally should! It's made to be extremely challenging so if you love demanding battles then I highly suggest that you play it.

but i had to train half a new team to beat her

king klang/ sceptile
gligar/gigalith
sharpedo/growlith

my whole strate revolved around getting a crit on night slash so i could take out gengar and muk with king klang the next turn
talk about frustrating

Everyone says that. xD For me it wasn't that difficult. Then again it really depends on what kind of pokemon you have for your team. I'd have to say that Shade's gym was the hardest so far. That effin gengar.....

I like that it has all the current Pokemon and their new idea of Field Effects to really interesting and adds more complexity to battles.
On the other hand, I'm not really liking the typical thing of trying to take the game into a "different direction" that most fan games seem to take, and most of the characters come across as pretty "anime generic" in design and such.
Despite that, it looks pretty good from what I've seen so far. I'd probably give it a go if I had the time and interest in playing a fan made Pokemon game.
