About the New skill Void Elemental

Void Elemental:
Your Charge skills and Blast will ignore 100% of an enemy's elemental resistances and your damage will be increased by 30% for 180 seconds. Passive effect: Flame Charge, Blizzard Charge, and Lightning Charge's damage is increased by 210%. (max level: 30) (From Max's Blog)

Many would look at 'damage will be increased by 30%' but the real goodie in the skill is ignore '100% of an enemy's elemental resistances'. In Korean forums they call it 'reset' and this does INSANE damage on higher tier bosses. It's safe to say when bossing and doing 170+ pq and mobbing, this will put us on the top of DPM chart. I guess the 'elemental resistences' don't only mean the %dmg taken/ignored by elements, but also mean another part of DEF that lowers Our DMG to bosses. (PDR is a seaparate part of monster/boss defence)

Not sure if this is discussed before, but this puts us on top of all classes, since dmg simply overpowers all classes AND we have all the survival skills. (Speaking objectively)
I think we still need to take into account RED was supposed to balance classses... When i first heard about this i was extremely happy being long-time pally owner since we haven't had our chance to be strong. Although, i feel that some classes have relative nerf because of this. (esp. BM and MM).

How do you feel about this? I'm expecting lots of bandwagons because of free class change and huge pally revamp.

Void elemental's effect is way too strong.
Pretty much all of the current 'endgame' bosses have physical resistance.
Considering maxed Insight will only give 5% ignore, they need to buff it up to 20 or 30%, and make Void Elemental to 50% or something more reasonable.

@TheMrTim: It'd be nice if we can get bosses that don't have resistance, im sure we'll get one eventually! Either that or they need to reduce void elementals ignore by a bit, maybe 50%ish.

@Delective I charges add like insane in 4th job its basically like dmg popcorn xD. Im actually not sure, but people has been experiencing 2x the dmg they had.
ALSO its not just about the literal side anymore, it ignores all these weird stats bosses have, and we hit like insane amounts ignoring these physical resistances.

@lazershock They're op though, since all the important bosses have those 'resistances' not really about ranges anymore for jobs now. Heros have awesome range, but pallies have even MORE awesome stat removers. Doesn't sound as awesome but still xD

@aznstyles It's not really about the elemental weaknesses, its now about physical resistance that's also ignored with void elemental.

@AckarRed: Yeah, I mean the things that don't have it =P I know physical and elemental resistance have the same variable. I mean on something that doesn't have it at all, thus allowing the other 2 warriors to hit their full damage instead of only half.

Do any high lvl bosses still have elemental weaknesses? o.o

I doubt it. People never considered A/Ms high tier even though they've constantly been high (or at least decent) on the charts and they've always had this quality.
Its not too bad =P. All three of the explorer warriors are currently at the top of the charts when applied practically (since they still have the same %'s from KMST) so I don't think there will be anymore of a bandwagon on one, than the other two.

On things that DON'T have physical resist though, Paladin's can get smashed pretty hard by heroes and dark's. So I wouldn't worry about being called overpowered.
Elemental Resistance will work for Physical Resist.

I don't really like it. I didn't want pallies to be completely overpowered like this. The charming part of paladins for me was the low-ish damage and high defense when I started
