@thingy97: My parents always told me it was because i ate too much unhealthy and junk food like chips and fries. I never actually knew for sure why i got them and after I googled it, it seems like theres no actual answer to why these sores appear.
Stress, jagged things causing cuts in your mouth, and lacking vitamins (which may be what your parents are suggesting) are common causes of canker sores. But they're just obnoxious and bluh.
OT: I've tried salt water rinses, I've tried mouthwash, and (since it's only been two days) it's not gone. I just hope it'll go away faster. :L.

Vitamin C. I get cold sores more though so I wouldn't know much.

I drink more than enough water. A drink at least a bottle during school and multiple at home. :L.
i touch it as much as i can and feel the pain more. That made it go away
So that's what their called, I have on on the inside of my lower lip and it kinda hurts to rinse sometimes.
BTW are painful white "bumps" on the sides of the tongue canker sores also?
Most likely. Sometimes they look like small craters.

Yeah. It makes it painful enough for me to either a) eat very deliberately without tasting anything, or b) not eating at all. Sometimes it hurts to drink water. It also hurts to chew anything larger than a pea.
Also, I'm positive I get enough Vitamin C. Last week was rather stressful though, with piles upon piles of homework and tests alongside poor planning skills, so I'm assuming that this was the cause of my canker sores.

Warm salt water swish!
I get canker sores when I accidentally bite the inside of my mouth. Sometimes you just have to ride it out they suck but eventually they'll go away.
No idea.
I get them occasionally when I accidentally bite the inside of my lip.
Vitamin C doesn't seem to work.
And I eat healthily enough, and doesn't explain why the occurrence of canker sores is random.
They're caused by a vitamin C deficiency. So look up some vitamin C foods on google and see if you eat any of them often. If not, there's your problem.

A hydrogen peroxide + water mixture helps. DO NOT DRINK IT, but swish it around in your mouth, spit it out, and rinse your mouth afterward.
Take some vitamin C and start eating healthy.
