Character 30 or above
Why was this implemented?
I try posting a comment then i get this notice saying i need a character that is at least 30 or above.
Is this to somehow prevent trolls and whatnot?
Cause i liked my blobbiness

It's absolutely pointless. It takes all of two seconds to search the rankings or go in game and find any level 30 player. Not only is it useless for trolls/spam accounts, it'll increase the number of impersonators. Dumb feature.
This is just going to increase the amount of impersonators as if there hasn't been enough of them already.
Imagine when he raises the level limit to 70
heh heh
Srs, I just jacked some rando character. Most stupid rule ever. Basil is on ahead to head competition with FB over who can make the most useless changes.
I can see the reasoning.
While not all trolls are gray blobs and not all gray blobs are trolls, a majority of users who created their account for mayhem and the like do so without adding a character. Currently, one method of permanent-removal of users is to blacklist their characters -- but if a user is a blob, they don't have a character to blacklist and they're significantly more anonymous.
Do I agree with B's decision? Eh. I'm hopeful, but only time will tell if it works or not. As @Kushied said, smarter blobs will just use random characters that don't belong to them. In fairness, it takes about an hour to hit level 30 these days.
Mr. Basil has declared the banishment of gray blobs.
I think it's stupid, I quit GMS years ago and my main was posted as my level 26 warrior, then I remembered I had a level 35 wind archer aswell
