Levelling Problems

Okay, I don't know when but between the time i left and came back to maplestory pre big bang, or at least a piece of it creeped back up through the monsters and levelling...

1) Why is it so hard to level now 2) Where does a level 53 evan train?

You have to be kidding me. You have that high level of a bucc... and you think leveling up that character is hard. You must be one of those people who love to be by themselves grinding. If you would actually try getting with friends and party questing, you'd see how fast your levels would fly. In 20 pq's in ludi, I went from 50-78.

The game isn't getting "harder". It's trying to change things up.
NO levelling the bucc was hard before unlimited and still is, but thats not the point
a 53 evan is hard and ya i like to grind alone, its faster and easier - however before i could go from 53-60 faster before unlimited which is what i liked it made the game fun - i liked levelling fast
Currently; if you pass a mob by 5 levels, every level after that the exp will drop by X amount (i believe the amount varies from monster to monster) So for example if I was to go kill a level 170 mob at level 200; I would be getting FAR less exp than its actual exp value, This gets removed around the time we get revamped Thunder Breaker though so it'll improve training a bit. Even with the nerf though its not too bad since I just got one of my characters from 0 to 156 only playing around an hour or two a day on that character =P
Oh thats messed since thats in the fall lol *when tb comes* i know the nerf could be worse but i just liked the way it was b4 unlimited that is all was more fun for me
Unlimited is pretty much a perfect patch besides about 2 major things: ALL of the boss buffs (this is currently being worked on according to waltzing since apparently the decision to buff bosses was made last minute so they really didn't have time to properly test things, and if they get lucky they might be able to nerf down the bosses depending on what the developers think) and some of the bigger glitches. Otherwise the patch works out fine, even for the lower levels as long as you know where to go =P (the exp nerf from being 5+ levels higher than the mob your training on gets removed in 1 or 2 patches by the way)

How about we revert back to when the game was fun? Oh ya back when Unlimited didnt exist <3

Also it is easy to say keep the exp amounts when you are a high level
The game is fun for me. All that changed is that it became "a little" more challenging. If you want to revert back to when Unlimited didn't exist you're better off playing a pizza slice.

I just want the days where I could have fun lol not grind for hours to gain a level and be bored lol
pre-bb it took me like 2 days to hit level 30, you guys are just slow, and honestly i still get a level in the same time as i would at jesters training and thats when im training at sandrats
Oh yea, you're probably talking about the 3 months prior the big bang patch where it was easy to level 30. I think what some people mean by pre bb is in the first 2 years of the game where leveling to 30 was really a pain in the ass.
How bout we keep the exp we have right now and take what KMS is doing with cubes? Sounds like a better plan to me.

Well, it would mean that the items created by cubes and other "pay 2 win" items would be so godly that people will pay real money for them since you would not be able to recreate same item easily. So yea, in the, you just create a whole new level of pay 2 win and the market will be even more messed up than it is already.

Short ended sight much.
You can craft cubes now in KMS. Giving everyone a chance to be "Godly".
It's not "Hard' to level at all, never was its just a lot more time consuming. I remember pre-BB it took like a month to get to 30, then post BB you could get to 30 in 30 mins. Its slowly changing back now all it needs is to remove "Pay to win" items such as cubes, protection scrolls, ect. then the game will be balance again.
Yea but I myself hated pre big bang, i felt like it was a waste of time by level 30 because i wasted so much time on that - i loved the fact that i could get to a high level and feel like wow i accomplished something and was pumped to get even higher. I agree that the pay to win items need to be minimized a significant amount but not the levelling, that made the game fun for me.
