Demon Slayers are similar to Arans in the aspect that they are powerful mobbers but their 1v1 ability lacks to meet up to that same ability and other classes surpass them on that. Mercedes is overall rounded for both they equally can mob to the same degree as they can with 1v1.
As for damage it all depends. Mercedes take more funding then a lot of other classes to be great due to needing to potential their arrow as well as their bow (Bringing them on the level of funding a DB when luk equips were actually expensive.) Due to Ishtar's low % (111% if you get Decent CO) it takes a lot to make it powerful. But the moment it surpasses 500ks per line (I hit 500ks on bosses on and off with 135% dex and 135% boss dmg) it will automatically out dmg nearly every class even at max funding.
although... slayers have that status resistance thing... i think mercs have one to some degree, but the ds one is better! but on the other hand, mercs get that 10% exp thing...

DS is easy to train with soul eater on mobs 10 lvls higher then u
Slayers aren't the best bossing class. They're pro mobbers...
Merc: All jobs
Slayer: 4th job (we get Demon Impact and Binding Darkness.)
