Dunwitch Pants

Why are they so expensive compared to the other dunwitch (mage) equips and the other RA pants. Why?

@TorfehMerci: I have no clue. It's been long this for at least 2 months according to my memory. Same with empress's warrior shoe drop. I haven't done empress in a long time but according to one of the replies on this thread, that seems to be the case still.
@LittleTLK: Thanks. I should re-word next time.
@cherrytigers has it right. They're shared among the party unlike the rest of the pants, a it's up to one per party whole the rest of the drops are split
Everyone else is wrong
For future reference, you'll have an easier time explaining if you don't say "they're shared."
That implies everyone gets a mage bottom if it's looted, which is the opposite of the problem.

It took me a while to understand because people explained it to me like you're saying.
Is there a reason why only mage pants are like this? Or is it just because Nexon hates mages.
it's just bugged, Empress Fans used to have (or maybe still have) the same problem
All incorrect. They drop just as commonly as every other pair of pants.

The only issue is that when it drops, it is shared between the party. The rest of the drops are individual so they're much easier to obtain.

If I kill pierre and he drops warrior pants, I can loot the warrior pants and there will be no problem, but if a pair of mage pants drops and someone else picks them up, it will disappear since someone took them.
All incorrect. They drop just as commonly as every other pair of pants.

The only issue is that when it drops, it is seen by every member the party. The rest of the drops are individual so they're much easier to obtain. The mage pants that can be seen by EVERYONE in the party = if 1 person loots, it disappears. The rest of the equips, everyone gets their own drops.

If I kill pierre and he drops warrior pants, I can loot the warrior pants and there will be no problem, but if a pair of mage pants drops and someone else picks them up, it will disappear since someone took them.

Translation: Supply difference causes the price change
Because they don't drop as much... That's pretty much it.
Any hope of the drop rates increasing or prices dropping? Or does your crystal ball not see that far into the future.
