@Raskler I agree about the different levels of legitimacy/illegitimacy. But there's just no way of knowing if you just bought a duped scroll so to some extent, everyone is illegit. The irony of this is if everyone does it, is it suddenly considered legit just because "everyone's doing it." Touchy subject.

At least the TS did state he put effort by merching.

Actually I've only ran into a few duped dkhanjars. It's not that common in GMS. The 196 VIP dagger is seen a lot more.

At least TS admitted to wearing two CHTP's (which you normally can't do) and a 255. Even so, nice range to look at. Inspiration, illegit or not.

If anyone truly wants to be legit, then hunt everything on your own outside of FM. So as long as you used a ws or perfect scrolled your weapon, the legitimacy is gone.

@MrTouchnGo: Heh, 150k is pushing it for me (definitely possible, but pushing it). I'm coming close to 90k right now and expect to get a nice boost from the revamp.

People that care about legitimacy have pretty much faded from sight in GMS, mainly because they can't exactly acquire ranges as high as the TS, or as much nx to spam smegas with (not targeted at TS, but at certain *others* in Bera) without spending an absurdly high amount of money.

You honestly can't stay 100% legit anymore unless you abstain from ever buying anything from anyone - including GM scrolls that are the baseline for endgame equips, WS, 50%'s, and Empress Equips. Glitched LHC maps and other crap going on in GMS has made people question just [i]why[/i] they try so hard to maintain their legitimacy.

And I honestly can't answer the question, other than "Hey, it's the right thing to do." So ever since I've been in the 17x's, I've stopped training at glitched LHC. I've refrained from duping during the massive amounts of server instability recently, unlike *some* alliance members, who called me "too legit to dupe" as if it were a bad thing. I will never use a 27 att VSS or any kind of crap like that. However, I will buy GM scrolls, WS, 50%'s, just because it's pretty much impossible to have a high range without coming into contact with those items.

It's nice to see that Shadowers can achieve this kind of range - yeah, I do find it pretty impressive - but it'd be even better to see someone come up with a 150k+ [i]legit[/i] range (waiting on you, @ksidirt ).

However, it is nice to see that the TS knows he's not exactly legit.

Please, if you're gonna talk about illegit items then 90% of maple is using them, gm scrolls, ws, duped vss. I agree that 255 pendants are a great range boost beyond what it should be and I'll stop using them when I'm able to hit max with ME constantly since that's my goal but until then I don't see why not use all the items avaible in game, I guess that's a matter of how you view the game and how you get the most entertained and personally I usually look forward achieving my goals no matter what it takes, if you wanna know my "legit" range it's about 175k as of now clean with 2 regular chtp's.

I'm sorry I can't help there I didn't buy my stuff for real money, most of my stuff is self-made except for some items bought off mts then self-cubed and some bought off friends, I mostly buy my items with merch'd NX though and it would cost roughly 100k NX to be "average" and have 20-30k range I assume. Get a nice dagger first then 9-12% luk equips as they are quite cheap nowadays : between 200m and 500m for common items and 700m~1b for class specific items.

Will post a SS sometime this week when I'm not too bothered, my range is now 214k I think clean not sure about buffed, still not using any potential on helm, aiming for 300k clean by level 200.

It does though, my legendary dragon kreda with 6% Att makes my range always red, whereas my pescas does not. If my pescas had %Att it would make my range red too. I was wondering one day why my range was red and I had no buffs on, then when I switched daggers it showed that it was the %att on the kreda. Of course you're just trolling people.

There is alot of ifs in that statement.IF you can make it work,or you can just not rely on chaos to make or break your range.
