whats the deal?
i sit in fm, spam B>(something)
get a trade, i ask the said person to offer, he says can you please?
i offer, he says no it's too low and closes the trade.
LISTEN GUYS, this is not how it works, you need to offer back after someone offered, you can't just say it's too low damn it.

I doubt that is economics; that is more manners.
He cancels trade to find another consumer to scam
i find people who do this so annoying
I would say it depends on how low you offered. If you offered a ridiculous amount that is such a low price and would just love to rip off the item, then yes, you may get rudely canceled. If you said an offer that was likely lower than normal but not too far off, then yes, he would be the rude one.

This is how the spammers in the FM entrance work really. It's quite rude of course, but the people there aren't looking for fair deals, they're trying to rip newbies off. If you give them a fair/high price, they cut their losses and just cancel the trade, knowing that they likely won't be able to scam you.
I suggest you just buy from a shop.
Honestly I get really annoyed when people do this to me, which is why I don't do it to them >.<
Maybe someone else did the same thing to him, so he thinks it's normal? I see almost every one in FM Entrance do this.
yeah but the thing is he can also simply state the desired price, not just rudely cancel the trade
