The UFC and MMA

I've never really followed team sports like Football, Baseball, Basketball etc, but I have a pretty strong passion for combative sports/competition. MMA being my favorite, I also love boxing, kickboxing, & muay thai. Even grappling competitions are exciting as hell to me.

I've had the privilege of being to two live UFC pay-per-view's, the latest one was the December card in Toronto, and I can't begin to describe the thrill of witnessing such high level and incredibly skilled mixed martial artists in person. When Cowboy's shin landed on Matt Brown's skull you could literally hear it echo throughout the auditorium.

Anyone else into MMA & UFC? What are your thoughts on where the company is at since it got bought over? The last few PPV's have been so controversial, but the fight nights have been awesome. I'm super stoked for tomorrow's fight night.. I've got Jacare, the Karate Hottie, & DJ all coming out on top.

This year should be historic for the fighting world. GSP is coming back, Jon Jones will return, and hopefully we get to see McGregor vs Mayweather in a boxing match that will shatter pay-per-view records.

hate to break it to you but ufc and all that is fake. the only real combat sport these days is wrestling. fun fact! did you know that the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted 16 feet into an announcers table?

@inkpan: I think there's been only one pro-sumo wrestler who made his debut in one of the early UFC's, he didn't fare too well lol.

@uwotm8: I'm leaning McGregor too man. He's got the size and the youth but who knows.
