Why are girls so hard to get?
Alright so, I've been seeing/watching this girl for a while, right? I've been showing her with gifts, fine wine, cheeses, bread crumbs, and the like. I decide it's finally time to make my move, and I thrust myself upon her in an attempt to catch her in my (metaphoric) loving embrace. As soon as I do, she just flies away and I haven't seen her since.
I'm starting to think pigeons don't like me.

Showering a girl with gifts is a good way to scare her off. You're making yourself seem creepy. Try to try less hard.
@eternalmemory your entire premise assumes that you are desired and attractive to guys because you are straighter than @ashleyattacked and that you have a successful life making 100k a year. I hate to break it to you, but you are a stranger to the rest of us too. Guys won't simply fawn over any girl for no particular reason. We have standards too. Your personality is ugly, so no matter how skinny and beautiful you are, no guy will ever shower you with gifts. Your insecurity is showing on full blast judging from how mad your post was.
Let's be real here. Since you are so successful and smart, and the guy must be just as successful career-wise, you'll end up being single forever cause others will see through your shallow af standards. Your personality sucks, so the only gift you will ever receive is the gift of being single forever
