From a beginner who relies heavily on these, here are my two cents. Gleam eyes is worth Jack squat compared to the other two. Just pretend it doesn't even exist. Fatal scythe is good for mobbing. Skull reaper is good for small mobs, or bossing.
on 150+ mobs, fatal scythe shines. If its on boss- like mobs or mini bosses, it doesnt.. it actually starts to fail because its poison doesnt slowly kill the mobs and relies on the starting damage..
on 150+ mobs Skull reaper deals more damage than fatal scythe and is more reliable. For mobs like zakum you should use fatal scythe for the arms and skull reaper for the body.
Enjoy your familiars! And remember, the best one isnt any of the SAO ones, but the Flame wizard knight of Cygnus! She deals about skull reaper's damage but DOUBLE damage every time!
I just came back to maplestory so I'm not yet caught up on familiars. I've got the spider familiar for increased drop rate, but I was hoping these SAO ones would be good for damage, I guess I was wrong.

I guess in terms of effects Fatal Scythe is the best... but in terms of appearance I think Skull Reaper looks the best with my outfit.
